  • Job Description: Volunteers receive free training and may be called on to assist during a large-scale disaster or public health emergency in Westchester County. The training is comprised of 6 hours of in-class training and 10 hours of on-line training, including: Disaster Prepardness, Fire Safety, Fire Suppression, Light Search and Rescue, The Incident Command System, Hazardous Materials, Decontamination Procedures, Points of Distribution Mgmt, Smallpox Overview, Quarantine & Isolation, Inoculation Procedures.
